  1. you need passport

  2. well duhh you need a passport
you cant cross the border of the US without them
You cant go on a plane without it

  3. You can’t go to Canada or the Bahamas. You are allowed the U.S.V.I. and Puerto Rico and even Hawaii. But don’t take a cruise… If you take an excursion and miss the boat you will need a passport. So you best bet will be to acquire a passport for peace of mind. You can get a passport before Thanksgiving but you will pay a arm and 2 legs for it.

  4. I am under the impression they extended the passports for caribbean travel deadline until january 1, 2008 due to the backup. talk to your travel agent. if they didn’t then go to the USVI or Puerto Rico or the Florida Keys… all very nice destinations where you don’t leave the US..

  5. WELL AFTER SEPTEMBER U DO NEED A PASSPORT TO TRAVEL EVEN TO PUERTO RICO

You don’t need a passport to US Territories (Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. You do need one if you are traveling by air to any other place in the Carriben, but that won’t take full effect until The end of January 2008. Birth Certificate and Vaild Photo ID is all that’s needed now, but if you want to be sure, check with the airline you plan to take. or check out this website

  7. Now if you go out of the country it is required to have a passport.
