A Blog for Last Minute Vacations

Is there an traveling exemption in the last four minutes of play if you are losing?

last minute travel
merlin g asked:

Both Kobe and that furry guy walked. Kobe did it twice going to the hole and the furry guy actually took 4 steps on a breakaway. The Furry guy one was so obvious my 8yo called it. She then went and counted four steps on the replay twice. I let her do it because I like to reinforce math skills and as it turned out she was right.

  1. the refs were cheated for Boston all night so they let it slide

    whos furry?

  3. Yes both Kobe and Gasol committed blatant travel penalties. Neither were called.

And these moron Laker fans are saying that the refs favored the Celtics???????

  4. They haven’t been calling travelling since the 1960’s. Its 2 steps not 3 or 4 or 5 depending on your superstar status! Jordan travelled more than any other player I have ever seen but he rarely got called for it. Same goes for all the so called stars!

  5. tell your little girl to add this
    27-38 for boston
10-10 for lakers in free throws
    Powe=bench player 9-13 ft
    simple addition and subtraction
she’ll probably like these math skills
plus 28 free throws for boston and still they only win by 6
i wonder which team is the real best team
anyways lakers have a reason to complain not boston

  6. Pierce also should have had a 4 point play.

The steal that led to the 3 late in the game was a foul too.

The Lakers got away with a few travels.

The Lakers also had a couple go against them too, but let’s be honest with ourselves, if they made the right calls, it wouldn’t have changed a thing. The Lakers got outplayed. They got beat too much from playing poor D all game long. Kobe was getting beat all night on whoever he was covering, and he’s the best defensive player on the Lakers.

The Lakers got beat so badly tonight that the Celtics did not have to play defense for the first 11 minutes of the fourth quarter. Can you find anything else to whine about?
