what is the cheapest way to travel internationally?
twister asked:
i’m thinking of doing some traveling, I don’t mind where and can leave anytime. so whats the cheapest way for somebody to go about it? - if a flight isn’t fully booked (and the seats would just go unused) can a person come along last minute and by the ticket cheap? if not whats the cheapest way to travel?

If time is not an issue, you can buy “stand-by” tickets that will get you on a flight if there are empty seats. Once you are there, look into a rail pass … they cost a bit up front, but offer unlimited travel. Shanks mare (walking) is always the best way to see a place, if you don’t have too far to go. Eat what the locals eat. Camp out and Youth Hostel. Bicycling.

You could look in to Greyhound or Westjet. I have found they have cheap fares.

Your best bet would be to go around various travel agencies in your area, and see what they have for last second sales. Usually you can get good all-inclusive deals at the last second for 35-75% cheaper than retail. Most of those tickets will be to either the Caribbean or the South Pacific.
You can also find standalone flights to most parts of Europe, Asia, and Australia for a cheap price, but you will need to make your own arrangements for lodgings, or just backpack the whole time and stay in hostels during your trip.
