Where can I find cheap last minute deals on flights leaving Bangkok?
ARKdeEREH asked:
I’m in Thailand right now. I want to travel somewhere for the next week or so, but don’t have a clear idea in mind of where I want to go.

Rather than clicking through hundreds of locations one by one I would like to find a list of last minute deals on flights from Bangkok to anywhere that I could choose from. Ideally these would be flights leaving withing the next couple of days.

I would call Thai Airways on the phone, and hope you got a helpful reservationist who has some knowledge of whats available.
if you get one who wont help, hang up and call back.
You may want to go back to the web and book it if you know what you are looking for.

If you’re thinking about flying somewhere in Asia or the Asia Pacific region, try Air Asia, they have great deals to many locations. Just enter Bangkok as your departure city and the drop down destination menu will list all their destinations from BKK, even at the last minute their prices can be very cheap. Bangkok Airways has some decent last minute prices. Thai Airways often has good last minute “Super Deals” but doesn’t have any at this time, they are a very good airline but can tend to be expensive to most locations. Air Asia is a budget, no frills airline but offers great fares. Just pay attention to their baggage restrictions, they have a fairly low allowances and will nick you for any overweight baggage. Bangkok Airways is normally more expensive than Air Asia, but is a great little airline.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. just go here: and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it’s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online… otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
